Fieldr is a web-based software that streamlines the connection between students and employers. We aim to bridge the gap in communication and provide career readiness through experiential learning opportunities in the local community. 

 

Employers

Fieldr allows you to find qualified candidates and perfect matches, in turn reducing your staff turnover. Just head over to the registration page and get your company signed up for FREE. Your first opportunity (job) posting is also free and lasts 30 days on the Opportunity Dashboard. Renewals and further postings are then $120 per post and remain active on the dashboard for 90 days. These opportunities can range from full-time jobs, internships, and volunteer work – you’re in the driver’s seat. 

 

Students

As a student you have the ability to search and filter through employment and internship opportunities that are tailored to your interests. We’ve made it simple; search through the various opportunities and if you find one that looks exciting, you can either apply to it directly or send a direct message to the campus recruiter and begin a conversation. 

Fieldr also uses an automated Job & Candidate Matching feature allowing you to be matched up to opportunities that fit their criteria. These matches are determined by the location of the user, the skills pertaining to the listing, as well as the degrees(s) of study related to the position.

Our Team

Connor Firmender

Co-Founder & CEO

Firmender’s background consists of graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University’s School of Entrepreneurship where he’s successfully launched two startups – one in the entertainment industry and his second being Fieldr. As the CEO, Firmender carries with him a strong history of Sales and Marketing, Business Development and Strategy, as well as Recruitment and Event Management. Moreover, Firmender is also on LARC’s Development Committee and represents FGCU’s Alumni Association.

Natalie Finazzo

Co-Founder and COO

Finazzo graduated Honors from Florida Gulf Coast University’s Finance program along with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. Having experience in FGCU’s School of Entrepreneurship, Finazzo has worked on one additional tech startup in her career and now currently gains much of her financial knowledge as both the Fieldr COO/CFO and current role as a Financial Analyst at a local bank. She carries with her a strong history of Operations and Process as well as Finance and Accounting.

Steve Becker

Advisory Board

Steve Becker, Principal Consulting Partner at SJ Becker Consulting, has more than 35 years of business and strategic Human Resource leadership experience within large corporations in the United States and Europe. He has held several senior level HR executive positions with large multinational companies including Honeywell, Viacom, OfficeMax and Signet Jewelers. Throughout his career, Steve has earned a reputation as a strong business partner, thought leader and insightful advisor and has been sought out to be part of leadership teams at the center of major organizational changes, including cultural transformations, global acquisitions/integrations, divestitures, startups and business restructurings. Steve is known for his business acumen and ability to develop strong relationships, coach, and inspire individuals and teams.

Karl Gibbons

Karl M. Gibbons is the CEO and Business Growth Architect of TEMA (Third Eye Management & Associates).
